Auto Summit 2010 : 6th Biennial Convention of Automobile Dealers
FADA's largest and most prestigious biennial Auto Retail event, Auto Summit 2010 on the theme "Auto Retail - Restructure for Sustained Growth" is scheduled for 8th & 9th January 2010 at Hotel The Lalit, New Delhi. The theme assumes an added significance for all those engaged in auto & allied businesses, especially for automobile dealers, in the backdrop of unprecedented downturn in demand witnessed recently across the globe. India has been fortunate to survive the crisis-like situation and is on a recovery path slowly but surely. However, automobile dealers cannot afford to lower their guard and need to restructure for sustained growth keeping in view the lessons learnt from the recessionary phase.
The 6th Auto Summit provides a common platform for industry, automobile dealers, management consultants, academia and thinktank to deliberate on changing paradigm of auto retail & service industry and identify the challenges and opportunities. The Summit will focus on the inter-play of competitive forces, management of a gamut of complex laws governing the retail auto business, importance of relationship management in a competitive environment and consolidating and sustaining growth through concerted effort.
Mr Kamal Nath, Hon’ble Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways has kindly consented to inaugurate the Summit and to deliver the Inaugural address.
Auto Summit 2010 coincides with the 10th Auto Expo (5th -11th January 2010). While India is emerging as one of the key manufacturing hubs and automotive markets, there are challenges galore, which need to be addressed for sustaining growth. The Summit will seek to find through deliberations answers to some of the questions bugging auto retail.
