Dealer
Satisfaction Study by J D Power Asia Pacific
J D Power Asia Pacific, in association with FADA, is embarking
upon a Dealer Satisfaction Study, which will commence shortly.
The Dealer Attitude Study (DAS) profiles new-car dealerships.
Evaluations of dealer-principals/ Owners/ CEO's form the
basis of this annual study, which examines 3S dealers' attitudes
regarding a variety of issues relevant to the automotive
industry and the retail distribution system, and issues
of importance to manufacturers and dealers. As dealers have
to work within a dynamic marketplace, they look to their
manufacturers for support and direction. DAS, therefore,
supplies the information needed to address these issues.
The study measures dealer satisfaction with the nameplates
that they carry.
Automobile dealers across the country are requested
to participate in the study in large numbers so that the
ground realities at the retail level are reflected in the
report for necessary corrective action in the interest of
growth of automotive market.
J D Power Asia Pacific assures automobile dealer
fraternity that all information collected will be reported
at an aggregate level. Individual dealer information will
be kept confidential and shall NOT be revealed to anyone.
The aim of this study is to understand dealer satisfaction
and attitude of dealers with their principals so as to increase
the quality of service and level of support that the Principals
can provide to their dealers. Hence the dealer's frank opinion
is very valuable to this study.
Being an online study, J D Power Asia Pacific will send
e-mails shortly to the dealer principals providing them
a link to the survey.
