Aakash Deep Motors Pvt Ltd located at Gopalpali Chowk, Sambalpur (Orissa), a dealership of Hyundai Motor India for the entire range of Hyundai cars owes its existence to young entrepreneur Alok Agrawal, who ventured into retail automotive business at the age of 21 years with a strong belief in his ability to rise to the challenge of running dealership successfully.
The purpose and single-mindedness with which Alok Agarwal, MD of the company, took to this business activity is illustrated by the growth the dealership has witnessed since its inception in 2000. The dealership started with a modest showroom of 700 sq ft with separate workshop & spares store. Today, Aakash Deep Hyundai is a tastefully designed expansive dealership comprising Sales, Service & Spare (3-S) activities under one roof, which bespeaks volumes of the growth & success of the venture.
The dealership located adjacent to NH-6 boasts of one of the most beautiful showrooms in eastern India. The showroom is situated at first floor with central air-conditioning and a separate air-conditioned customer lounge. Browsing facility along with TV, DVD and background audio music add to the delightful experience of customers at the showroom. Aakash Deep Hyundai has paid special attention to ensure hygiene and cleanliness at the showroom and workshop area.
Currently, about 35 employees are working with Aakash Deep Hyundai in various areas of dealership operations. The dealership sells, on an average, over 300 cars including Santro, Getz, Accent, Elantra & Verna per year. The annual turnover ranges from Rs. 12.5 to Rs. 13.5 Crores.
On an average, around 1800 vehicles are serviced every year at the dealership workshop. The workshop is very well equipped and is manned by competent technical staff as per the norm of Hyundai Motor India Limited. The workers and staff working with the dealership enjoy a host of facilities and amenities at par with the industry norms and standards.
Customer satisfaction is the top priority for the dealership. The suggestions and complaints of customers are promptly attended to for corrective action and implementation. Aakash Deep Hyundai has established brand equity of its own and enjoys a tremendous confidence amongst its customers in the region with its customer centric policies and activities.
