Sai Motors came into being in August 2003 as an authorised automobile dealer for sale, service and spares of Hero Honda two-wheelers.

Sai Motors' showroom built on a spacious 20,000 sq ft area was inaugurated by Brijmohan Lall Munjal, Chairman, Hero Honda Motors Ltd. The dealership is the first of its kind to be certified ISO 9001 :2000. The showroom is centrally air-conditioned having an exclusive area for customers to select vehicles and colours of their choice.

The dealership currently employs a dedicated workforce of 75 persons who have been trained by Hero Honda itself. It has well-equipped service centre to service more than 100 motorcycles per day. A notable feature of the workshop is the dust-proof engine room.

Around 700 Motorcycles are sold monthly. Annual turnover of the dealership is Rs. 50 crores.

The dealership has introduced a number of sales and service schemes, like, Hero Honda Passport Programme and Sai Suraksha in association with National Insurance Co Ltd, for the benefit of its customers. Sai Suraksha Program offers an extended warranty on Hero Honda motorcycles, providing a total warranty period of 4 years or 40,000 kms whichever is earlier. It also entitles the vehicle owner for additional two free services other than the normal free services.

Regular feedback is taken from customers at different stages like delivery, free services and warranty period. The feedback is analysed and corrective measures are taken to ensure customer satisfaction.

Following facilities are provided by the dealership:

▪	Appointment services;
▪	Breakdown services;
▪	Pickup and drop for servicing vehicles; and
▪	Door delivery of new vehicles at customer residence.

 
Sweets and flowers are presented to the customers at the time of delivery and also during festivals to make the sales a memorable experience for them.

The principal persons managing the dealership are: B S Suresh and B S Rajan. Rajan, Managing Director of the dealership is an MBA from St Joseph College of Business Administration, Bangalore.
