V D Motors (P) Ltd, a Life Member of FADA and an authorised dealer for sale, spares and service of Mahindra's MUVs, Three-Wheelers and Light Commercial Vehicles, is located in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan.

V D Motors owes its phenomenal success to Rajender Singh Godara, Director, who founded the company about 30 years ago and oversees all the activities pertaining to the management of the dealership.

V D Motors is wedded to the philosophy of all-round efficiency and customer satisfaction and the thrust areas of dealership management are: Punctuality & discipline of staff; Prompt sales and service/repair and ready availability of spare parts; Proper co-ordination among Sales, Service, Spares, Marketing & Accounts teams; Market Planning & Implementation; Funds Flow Management; Effective coordination between Area Office & Dealership; Monthly/Fortnightly Meets for identifying and addressing the problems, if any, faced by customers and within the dealership.

Customer Care and Satisfaction is the motto of the company. The dealership obtains on the spot feedback of customers through separate questionnaires designed by the company for sales and service. The system of regular mailers to the customers is an integral part of the dealership operations. In addition, the company organises, from time to time, the customer meets and free check-up and service camps.

Mr Rajender Singh Godara is being ably assisted by his son, Vikas Godara also a Director in the company, who joined the company six years ago. Vikas, a law graduate, has been instrumental in achieving the targets set by their principals.

At present, V D Motors has two showrooms at Sri Ganganagar & at Hanumangarh and workshops at Sri Ganganagar, Nohar and Suratgarh districts in Rajasthan. These jointly sell over 450 vehicles and service over 6,000 vehicles annually. The sales and service targets of the company for the current year are 600 & 8,500 plus vehicles, respectively.

Showrooms and workshops offer pleasant environment with various facilities for customers including air-conditioned customer lounge with VCD facility in the workshops. The dealership boasts of well-equipped modem workshops, which are fully computerised and automated. The company also has an automated paint booth.

V D Motors employs 91 persons and has an annual turnover of Rs. 18.50 crore.

Besides the dealership of Mahindra & Mahindra, other, business interests of the company include, dealership of MICO Products at Hanumangarh and an IOC fuel station also at Hanumangarh. The family is also into agricultural activity and owns 700 acres of irrigated land.
